New Administrators Program Empowers Leaders for Adventist Schools in 2025

The Foothills Conference Centre came alive on March 4 and 5 for the New Administrators Program, 2025. Designed specifically for leaders newly appointed to senior positions within Australian Adventist Schools, the two-day event provided inspiration, practical tools, and vital connections to guide them in their leadership journey.

27 leaders, including Education Directors, Principals, Deputy Principals, Heads of School, and Early Learning Centre Directors, gathered at the scenic Mooroolbark location to engage in the program aimed at equipping and encouraging New Administrators in their roles.

The program emphasised leadership rooted in a spiritual foundation. Sessions focused on leadership legacy, spiritual and sustainable leadership, and understanding personal strengths.

Peer networking was a key feature, fostering connections among leaders from across the country. “Knowing you are not alone in this journey is invaluable,” remarked one attendee.

The program concluded with a Leadership Dedication ceremony, where Dr Jean Carter and Jacques Calais encouraged attendees to remain strong and courageous, drawing inspiration from Joshua 1:9.

The balance of spiritual encouragement, practical leadership strategies, and meaningful connections was highlighted in participants responses. Many participants noted how the program left them feeling equipped, valued, and aligned with the mission of Adventist Education.
