During February and March, our ‘Online Leadership Forums’ took place, bringing together Directors/Project Officers, Principals, Heads of Secondary Schools, Heads of Primary Schools, and Early Childhood Leaders in a collaborative setting. Despite the physical distance, these virtual gatherings serve as hubs of spiritual connection and professional growth, uniting leaders across the country to navigate shared challenges and connect on a deeper level.
At the heart of each forum was learning around how to be visible spiritual leaders within their respective educational communities. As the sessions commenced, participants engaged in reflections on the importance of embodying spiritual leadership principles in their leadership roles.
A cornerstone of the forums was the ‘Spotlight Interviews’ with leaders, who generously shared experiences with their peers. Following this, participants dispersed into small breakout rooms, where they engaged in candid conversations about the challenges and opportunities they encounter in their roles. Participants were reminded of programs and services offered by the ASA Leadership Institute.
By harnessing the power of virtual platforms, leaders are able to transcend geographical barriers and forge meaningful connections with peers from diverse backgrounds and experiences. As we continue on this collective journey of leadership, let us remain steadfast in our dedication to fostering spiritual leadership, embracing challenges, and seizing missional opportunities.
